This blog aims to become sponsored-content free, which means from now on I do not accept any invitations to blogger events, gifts, free samples or goodies bags. Even if the company claims I am free to write my own opinion on the product, we all know that it’s far more complicated than that, and a lot of trouble and friction is created once a blogger bashes a product. And even honest praise does not sound honest, if the product has been gifted, and the blogger chaperoned into a brand promotion event. I fell in love with blogs because of their honesty and trust I could build in relations to real people, who I knew were not sellign me anything. I want to sustain that innocence even in the era of sponsoring and advertorials, and hence pledge to aim for an advertorial-free blog.
In respect to my readers, I will not remove posts about Omnia II and Kiehl’s products, which have been sponsored to me.
