Traveled: Krabi

My family visited last month, and I decided that since they came all the way here (my mom,dad and sister) it would be a waste not to go on a short mini trip, and we ended up in Krabi. Man, it’s quite lovely there! And the prices… how come I always feel like a rich pimp outside of Singapore lol. The power of the SG DOLLAR FTW

We stayed at Sala Talay Resort & Spa, but honestly speaking it was not a nice experience. The Resort is famous for their rooms located near the pool. And since I traveled with my whole family (notice: bunch of adults who no longer live together since … like 7 years) I booked 3 rooms for our comfort. But upon arrival the reception lady said “oh so sorry, all our room are occupied”. Im like “WTF YOU TALKING BITCH” >.<, I booked them a F***KING month before our travel. But the resort insisted the have “upgraded” us to “suite” with 2 bathrooms near a smelly bog at the back of the building. Upgrade my arse! There was one bathroom with shower-cabin, that had the door to other bathroom with toilet and tub. So in the end, if someone was using the bathroom, no one else could. I was damn pissed off, because I didn’t move out of my parents house at age of 20 just because I enjoyed lack of privacy so much, ohkay? Anyways, if you ever go to Sala Talay Resort & Spa, don’t let them “upgrade” you! Kick and scream, till they book you a room in the resort next door, seriously.

Anyways, the rest of the stuff we did, do and saw was nice. Loved the food, the people (even the annoying tailors lol), massages and all the stuff that one usually does when in Krabi.
